Terms and conditions of sale

Article 1 - Length of stay

The tenant who signs the contract for a fixed term may under no circumstances claim any right to remain on the premises.

Article 2 - Conclusion of the contract

The reservation becomes effective as soon as the tenant has guaranteed it by valid credit card on the date of the start of the stay, or by bank transfer.

Article 3 - Cancellation by the tenant

The cancellation conditions vary according to the reseller through which the tenant has booked. These are the conditions that apply, so please refer to them in case of cancellation.

The following conditions only apply when the tenant books directly (telephone, egila.io website) :

  1. In case of cancellation or modification up to 30 days before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.

  2. In case of cancellation or modification less than 30 days before the date of arrival, 30% of the amount of the rental will be charged.

  3. In case of cancellation or modification less than 72 hours before the date of arrival, 100% of the amount of the rental will be charged.

  4. In case of late cancellation or modification of non-presentation or reservation with the mention 'non-refundable', the owner requires 100% of the amount of the stay.

  5. In case of shortened stay, the price initially provided at the time of booking remains acquired by the owner.

Article 4 - Arrival

The tenant is welcomed on the day specified from 3 p.m. or earlier depending on availability. In case of late arrival, the tenant must notify the owner or his representative.

Article 5 – Rates regulations

The rate includes the rental of the gîte for the entire duration of the stay, as well as the provision of household linen. This includes bed linen, a bath towel and a hand towel per person. Tea towels and a bath mat are also provided to the tenant.

Payment to the owner by: Cash, CB, VISA, holiday vouchers or bank transfer (bank or postal checks are not accepted).

A deposit of 500 € is requested from the tenant upon his arrival, it is taken by imprint on credit card (Provision for Lessor of Goods and Services), and returned at the latest, one week after the departure of the tenant.

Article 6 - Tourist tax

The tourist tax is a local tax that the tenant must pay to the owner who then pays it to the Public Treasury. This amount may be debited from the credit card if the tenant has not paid this amount by another means.

Article 7 - Use of the premises

The tenant must respect the peaceful nature of the premises, make use of them in accordance with their destination. He undertakes to return the accommodation in good condition. It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the accommodation. If a cigarette smell were to persist after the tenant's departure, a sum of 100 € (ONE HUNDRED EUROS) will be deducted from the deposit. <br> In the event of damage, the cost of repairs will be deducted from the deposit.

Article 8 - Animals

The contract specifies that the tenant cannot stay with a pet. In the event of non-compliance with this clause by the tenant, the owner may refuse animals. This refusal cannot in any case be considered as a modification or a breach of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the tenant's departure, the price corresponding to the cost of the accommodation remains acquired by the owner. If, however, the tenant must imperatively be accompanied by an animal, such as a dog assisting disabled people, simply notify the owner in advance so that he can take all necessary measures.

Article 9- Capacity

The contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of people exceeds this number, the owner is able to refuse additional people. This refusal can in no case be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of departure of a number of people greater than those refused, the price corresponding to the cost of the The accommodation remains with the owner.

Article 10 - Insurance

The tenant is responsible for all damage occurring as a result of his actions. He must therefore check whether his main housing contract provides for the holiday extension (holiday rental). The tenant certifies that he is covered by civil liability insurance covering his own liability and that of the persons accompanying him.

Article 11 - Disputes

It is recommended to contact the Tourist Office which will intervene to promote the amicable settlement of disputes - if the complaint is made within the first three days after arrival, for any dispute concerning the inventory or the state of the description, - at the end of the stay for all other disputes. For all disputes arising from the execution or termination of this contract, only the Courts of the jurisdiction of the place of the building subject to the rental are competent.

Article 12 - RGPD

We take care of and respect the personal data of tenants. The information we collect is used only for communication and management purposes related to the activity that concerns us. This information is not shared, it is not sold, it is not used for any other purpose than to best carry out the contractual relationship presented here. The tenant can at any time, consult, modify and delete his own information by going to the dedicated space which was communicated to him in the first booking confirmation email.
